My Walking Buddy Who Accompanies Me
Has Taken Walks Along With Me
Mostly Since His Legs Carried Thee
A Walking Stick He Doesn’t Need
He Chooses To Have One Anyway
Because Finding Them Is Such Fun
Even If He Decides To Run
Then He Thanks His Stick Buddy
When Saying Goodbye As He Exits
And He Lays The Stick Aside
He’s Sure Another Will Need It
Since It Kept Falls ‘n Bumps Away
On The Walk Through The Woods
With Grandma Who Loves Him To Pieces 🙂
No bumps for Grandma either on the walk…glad to say. haha

Thanks for visiting me.
Beautiful shot. Full of adventure and a bit of wistfulness, too.

There is just nothing like to have a buddy and be a grandparent is there?
This photo has such a lovely, magical feel to it the way the light is filtered through the trees. Simply lovely!
That’s so sweet – both the picture and the poem!
