Playtime

t bucket outside b w n color copy framed

Ever since grandbabykins has been little, he loves playing with the water at grammy’s house. As soon as the warm weather hit last Summer, he was outside and wanted water. The solution was to give him a bucket instead of him constantly running the hose. He was fine with that so I gave him a bucket and he wanted one of my small canning jars that he spied to play with. It kept him busy for hours, but eventually, I did end up squirting him and I’m pretty sure I ended up soaked in retribution from him. We always make the outdoor playtime fun. Even this past winter, he wanted a squirt bottle so he could play with water in the house, but to make it worthwhile, I gave him one and let him clean the glass tables and anything that couldn’t be harmed with water.

I chose this picture as my ‘Black and White w/Color’ for the Texture Tuesday theme for May 14th. I edited the photo to take out the color and then added color back in where I wanted, and I also applied Kim Klassen’s kk_2303 texture (free at http://kimklassen.com) to the photo. I then added the frame from Picasa’s free photo program.

In addition, I decided to add the emboss feature that is in Adobe just for fun. See below:

and below is the original picture that I started with.

Below is video of grandbabykins when little playing with the hose and getting frustrated when it gets too heavy for him to pull further or for it to reach as far as he’d like. Grammy did quit filming to help him. haha
