Finally!! A Vacation

It has been years since I’ve gone on a vacation. But, last month my sweet daughter and SIL invited me to go on vacation with them. The trip was to Florida. Actually, the last vacation trip I took was when my daughter took me to California, and Also….the first time I’d ever rode on an airplane. Always said that I never would, but it was amazing. I shocked myself because also always said, I could never, ever look out the window of an airplane or want to be seated beside one. But, the adventurer in me just had to. It did not disappoint.

But, on to this year. They took me to Florida. The beautiful white sand was so soft like powder. I thought at my age, it would be way too hot for me so I really was hesitant. But, even though it was sweltering, the wind that blows across the water was amazing, and cooling enough. Anyway, it was just the medicine that I needed after losing my hubby, then the shutdowns of the pandemic. Kids are amazing.

Was a bit rainy for sun soaking so we enjoyed lunch by the ocean and a drink.
