I follow a blog that is so generous with her vast knowledge of Adobe plus she shares so many free things. Lately, her tutorial was how to make textures so I gave it a try. The background texture in the digital art above is one that I made. I am sharing it free for anyone who would like it. Link up will be below.
Note: The poem isn’t one of mine
Hope everyone is having a good week.
You can download the full background texture HERE.
Thanks for giving me a visit. Love comments and please share anything about what you’re doing with the digital graphics and leave a photo is you want in the comments below.

First off, I want to give a big thank you to Patricia for allowing us to visit and tell a little bit about who we are and what we do over at Pixel Scrapper!
We are a digital scrapbooking site, and more than that, a community. A community of artists ranging from complete beginners to the advanced and even professional.
If you’re not quite sure yet what digital scrapbooking even is, just take a look at the article linked above — it’s thorough and in-depth, but also easy to read. And it will help you understand what digital scrapbooking is and how to get started on your journey.
But for those of you who already know about this craft: at Pixel Scrapper we seek to be something different than you usually find in the digital scrapbooking world (or even digital arts world at large). We want to be a place where scrappers and artists can connect to one another, enjoy what they do, share their creations with others, and be inspired by each other.
To this end, we built Pixel Scrapper the way it was built — with private contact forms, forums where you can ask questions and interact, and even a live chat room. But not just that, we have an open gallery, meaning you can share layouts that you’ve created and find inspiration, and they don’t even have to be layouts that are created exclusively with Pixel Scrapper graphics.
And if you’re more than just a scrapper, and you yourself are a designer (or interested in designing), we have a Commons. A place where designers of all experience levels can upload their designs for others to enjoy, while receiving encouraging feedback on their work so they can continue to keep getting better. You also give feedback to other designers who are learning and growing themselves — a thriving system of where we’re all enriched by both giving and receiving.
But what I’ve shared so far is only half of what we do. We wouldn’t be a site for digital scrapbookers and artists without our actual graphics. But even here we wanted to function as much as we could from a value of generosity.
So once you register for a free account, you can download five graphics every single day, completely for free. That’s with a personal or commercial use license, and these graphics are chosen from our collection of thousands upon thousands, that are of the highest quality and come in many different file formats.
But is 5 graphics not enough to meet your scrapping needs? Then one of our great subscriptions is probably for you. Get unlimited graphic downloads for an affordable flat rate (available in monthly or yearly payments). Particularly, if you’re a professional, our commercial use subscription could be just for you, as we made it as open and freeing as we could so that you wouldn’t have to worry about copyright every time you went to work with one of our graphics.
These subscriptions do for digital scrapbookers what Netflix did for movie-lovers. They streamline and make affordable your hobby (or profession) like never before.
So come check us out. You won’t regret it. Enrich your creative life by joining our community. It’s super low-stakes — just register for a free account, and browse around the site till you find something you like.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Thanks for visiting, and giving this great source of digital scrapbooking a visit. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
