Few More Digi Layouts w/Free Layout

I’m offering the purple beauty as a freebie. Download is below.

I’m no artist, but I’m trying to learn how to make original layouts. I have worked with one group that taught different ways to paint to use in hybrid scrapbooking and then transport to digital. That way, if I make them original, I have a right to give my layouts away. So many that I have downloaded from sites are so beautiful, but with a personal license they only allow parts of their work for personal use only, and not for display on websites, etc. Have to read their terms of use very carefully so not stepping on copyright laws. Can get sticky.

Anyway, kits that I make will be given away with permission to personal use, but also to display on your website if you choose. The only stipulation is that my layout cannot be displayed as is, only the parts in the kit. They can be recolored, reimagined, or as is in your layout. They cannot be sold unless request commercial license permission. Any questions, let me know.

As we say good-bye to February, have a great last day and an awesome March. Here’s hoping it comes in like a lamb and stays that way. I’m so ready for Spring, and no more snow.

God Gave Me A Rose

Rose Poem by Trabonet aka Peabea

A poem I wrote under the name of Trabonet in early 2000. When enjoying my rose bushes and messing with them, this poem came to mind because of always getting jabbed by those thorns when I’d try to cut them for putting in a vase. It reminded me of how we should treat a love one or how to treat children (especially as they struggle in their teenage years, and we adjust to how to mentor to their needs). We hold too tight and sometimes children push back.

Sharing since the word I chose for this year is JOY!!

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
Zephaniah 3:17

Have a joyful Mother’s Day
