The Cactus that my sister gave me last year has bloomed. I never knew they had such pretty blossoms, and I’m lovin it because I’m just not a green thumb and when anything blooms, well, I’m amazed! lol
Sharing over at Floral Love with all the others that share their beautiful flower photography.
❤ that you stopped by Peabea’s Patch.
After a divorce our son had to move back home for a bit. While here, he purchased bulbs and planted these Lilies. They have multiplied over the years and are getting so tall. Every Spring it is a delight to watch them finally open up to reveal their amazingly beautiful red color. He couldn’t have picked a better color as it is one of my favorites. That son has since remarried and moved to California, but my eyes love looking at him through these flowers each year. I miss him, but what a great reminder of the wonderful man (son) he has turned out to be. Such a loving heart.
I did transplant some of the bulbs early this Spring and was glad to see they have also made it and are blooming.

I ran an action from The Coffee Shop Blog called Coffee Shop Art Gallery, and used a free texture from Pixabay that Rita at the Coffee Shop also shared a link to on her site, and you can find the texture here http://pixabay.com/en/texture-artisan-acrylic-traditional-319740/.
The frame is one that comes loaded with Adobe Photoshop IE.
Thanks for visiting.
I’m also sharing one of my free textures that I make. You can download it HERE without my Logo watermark or just click the photo below.

‘COLOR’ is the Texture Tuesday theme for this week. Sharing some of my wild flower pictures that I took a couple of Summer’s ago, and the one up in the corner is the swim area at my local YMCA. The grandbabykins loves playing there winter and summer. (Note: you can click on the picture for a larger display of my submission).

As we head into the Holiday Season of Thanksgiving, it’s always a time for remembering all our thankfulness.
Give thanks to the Lord,
Call on his name;
Make known among the nations what he has done.
1 Chronicles 16:8
Or perhaps a cup of Tea on a Winter’s Morn.
As you can see, I’m already missing my summertime flowers so guess the fake ones will have to do until Springtime rolls around again. 🙂
What I’m up to:
- During this month of November, I’m doing a Bible Study of Thanksgiving that is online with GoodMorningGirls.org. It just started on November 11th so there’s still time to grab their study materials and join in.
- I’m also working on getting together to share a Peabea’s Photography and Craft Patch Potpourri Photography Challenge meme. I enjoy visiting and sharing with other Photography meme’s each week so thought I’d start one as well. But more on that later. 🙂
- Just finished reading The Book Thief. My book reviews that need updated are on my writing site at peabea.net
Some freebies I’ve encountered along the way as I peruse the web and fun sites to check out that you might like.

Hope you enjoy, and thanks for visiting me. 🙂 Blessings and Thanksgiving to all.
Some that have visited said they couldn’t read my poem so I’ve added the words below.
The Nature of your Love
Warms me as no other
Rays of Sunshine
Your arms embrace
Encompasses my Happiness
And assures me I am Safe
I dream of your Face
As I soak up the Sun
And await once more The Warmth of your Hug
This photo that I took at the end of last Summer was the one I decided to use for my first time submitting to Quotography because the field of flowers seemed a perfect place to be soaking up the Sunshine among all the colorful flowers. Since I didn’t find a quote that I liked to go with my picture, I added my own Poem, and hopefully each part can be taken as a quote on its own.
I used Kim Klassen’s KK_May texture for sharing with Texture Tuesday.
I love sharing my crafts in The Patch, but would also love to have some Guest Crafters share theirs. If anyone has a craft they would share, I’d love to feature you on my site and share with others including my Facebook Friends. Please let me know in the comment form below. ~Thanks-a-bunch~
