Digital scrapbooking or turning a photo into art (sort of) is fun. I sometimes make my own backgrounds and kits, but this basic kit is from Charlize C, designer at Oscraps.com and then I added some from my photo program; like the beach ball and the Beach Fun Sign.
Click my little froggy friend so we can visit and see what fun things you’ve been photographing or the digital photos you’ve been working on. Anything photography is what Pictorial Friday is about. Try to visit others that link up and leave a comment for them. Even if you don’t link up, thanks for stopping by. We enjoy seeing all visitors and especially comments. 🙂

Original photo that I used for this post: The grandbabykins playing in the sand on the beach when he was a littlekins.
I didn’t take the photo of my grandson opening his Christmas presents at Christmas one year (my son did), but I did take the photo of our Blue Spruce out in the front yard that I moved him onto. I thought it made a nice backdrop for contrast. I also applied the cracked glass texture from The Coffee Shop Blog. She is sharing it as a free texture.
Below is the photo without the cracked glass texture. Which do you like best?
We can rejoice too, when we run
into problems and trials, for we know that they are
good for us-they help us learn to be patient.
And patience develops strength of character
in us and helps us trust God more each
time we use it until finally our hope
and faith are strong and steady.
Sunday Blessings for a great week ahead and a Safe Independence Holiday this coming Saturday.
The snow has returned here in Ohio, but not with the force of those on the East Coast that experienced Blizzard conditions overnight. Our thoughts are with them as they shovel out from under. One report said that Boston got 18 inches with winds of 65mph. Stay warm everyone. As long as the electric stays on and we have heat, it is so lovely with the new fallen snow.
I textured my winter scene with kk_carmel to share with Texture Tuesday . I’m also sharing with Texture Twist and The Enchanted Rose has a new link up on Tuesdays called Roses of Inspiration now so I’m adding her to my Tuesday linkups as well. It’s always fun to link up and see and meet new blogger friends. Stop by their sites and say hello. 🙂
I saw these words on the internet and loved them so I recreated on my own graphic and if anyone knows the author please let me know so I can give proper credit, but the words are awesome, I thought. Please feel free to copy and take for your own if you like since the words are not really mine, just borrowed.
Thanks for visiting Peabea’s Patch and have a wonderful Tuesday. And please leave a Hello so I know you stopped. Visitors ALWAYS welcome.
A visitor that decided to spend the day in our spruce tree. He or She (not sure how to tell) nestled there most of the day, and even took some naps. 🙂
The mourning dove (Zenaida macroura) is a member of the dovefamily (Columbidae). The bird is also called the turtle dove or the American mourning dove or rain dove, and formerly was known as the Carolina pigeon or Carolina turtledove
We had our first snow this week in Ohio. Not near as much as other states, but it was so pretty to wake up to find the world had been painted white by The Master. It was a snow day for the grandbabykins also so we got to have him for the day while his mama worked. He helped shovel and play in the snow and of course throw some snowballs.
I combined two photos to get this one since I liked this photo of the tree line a bit down the road behind a house. Original photos are below.
On the picture below I ran the Snowy Dreams action from The Coffee Shop Blog.
Thanks for visiting. We’re never to old to play in the snow or at least watch the kiddos play in the snow. ~smiles~
Bachelor Buttons for Texture Tuesday. Applied Kim’s Pinit9 and then used a layer mask to paint the flowers back in and then applied the Pinit9 again.
I’ve received my first postcards since joining Postcrossing. So far I’ve sent out 11 postcards and received 4 with more on the way to me. I’m one to still enjoy receiving mail, and so far looks like a fun idea. So far I’ve received a card from Israel, United Kingdom, Brussels, Spokane, and Mother Hen’s from Oregon.
Plus this wonderful card from the lady (Mother Hen) whose blog I found and she told me about Postcrossing. See her card below. Thanks Mother Hen for the tip and the beautiful card from your state.
I have a blister, knees are sore but the porch is STAINED. Bout time after a few years of weathering. Sometimes Summer is tiring because the weather allows to get those jobs done that can’t be in the winter time. Fall will be house paint trimming and garage painting. Bah!! I’m tired already.
Plus, I bought a drill bit and learned how to cut a hole in a glass bottle to insert those little mini lights. Yet to insert the mini lights, but here is picture of the hole. hahaha
Have a great week and stay cool. Weather here has been very hot and humid this week, but going back down by the week-end in Ohio to cooler weather.
