Embers Ignited

Fire for Spark link blog hop

So she searches for light, only to realize it’s in her,
like an ember equipped to ignite.
Jessica Sorensen

Like the embers that catch one to another to become a full flame, people do the same when we interact with one another. Smiles, happy moods, friendliness, etc. all help to fuel the spirit of good will to others. We can also do the opposite with words that hurt or anger. Be the flame that ignites and spreads good vibes.

I was tagged to do three quotes, and I think in three days…but I’m behind. I’m sharing this one that I found and liked it. We are free to dream and so dream all the beauty that you can and enjoy, and hoping that all who read this find that their dreams do indeed come true…the beautiful ones.

Thanks for visiting and feel free to share a favorite quote in the comments below or do a blog post with your favorite quote and come back and share a link or share it over at my Pictorial Tuesday site.

My only sketch, profile, of heaven

is a large blue sky,

and larger than the biggest

I have seen in June

and in it are my friends

every one of them.

Emily Dickinson

A lovely blogger by the name of Lisa (Peripheral Perceptions) has tagged me to play along in a 3 Day Quote Challenge. I thought it sounded fun, so here goes.

I chose this quote by Emily Dickenson because it paints a fun and wonderful picture of how heaven might be. I love the wonderful blue skies on a Summer’s day so this one seemed like a good photo that I’d taken to go along with my quote graphic.

Now the fun part too, as part of the 3 Day Quote Challenge that began from a friend of Lisa’s who then tagged me, I am to tag three bloggers who might like to participate. Although the disclaimer is that it’s not mandatory…only if you would like to post a quote for three days. Does not have to be three consecutive days. Then tag three of your blogger friends. That’s it.

So here goes to the ‘You’re Its’ that I’ve chosen.

I’m tagging

Inspired by June,

Words Like Honey

and as my third choice, all or any of my followers that would like to be in the challenge. Just post a quote, tag three friends, and play along. That’s it…no tag back required.

Also, I didn’t put my graphic logo on my picture above because I thought if anyone would want, just click and save it as your own as a gift from me.

Happy Thanksgiving to those that celebrating tomorrow with family and friends.

Just Breathe

John 15 15 16

Happy Friday, and Just Breathe and have an Enjoyable week-end.

20160224_210226

Ye have not Chosen me, but I have Chosen you.

I Am Chosen
I Am Forgiven
I Am Created in God’s Image ~
to me that statement means not physical attributes, but created in his Image.
And the Image that I perceive of God is not nationality, or whether he has long hair, short hair, tall/thin, blonde, brunette.
Actually, I perceive him as a non-distinct Spirit that surrounds with loving kindness…and one who loves and only wants the best for his children

Others may see him differently, but no matter how you perceive God, just know that you are Chosen and you are Loved. And the only requirement that was left with us was to

Love One Another as I have Loved you’

And what wisdom that is because LOVE covers all ills.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week-end,

Tea quote

As we head into the Holiday Season of Thanksgiving, it’s always a time for remembering all our thankfulness.

Give thanks to the Lord,
Call on his name;
Make known among the nations what he has done.

1 Chronicles 16:8

Or perhaps a cup of Tea on a Winter’s Morn.

As you can see, I’m already missing my summertime flowers so guess the fake ones will have to do until Springtime rolls around again. 🙂

What I’m up to:

  • During this month of November, I’m doing a Bible Study of Thanksgiving that is online with GoodMorningGirls.org. It just started on November 11th so there’s still time to grab their study materials and join in.
  • I’m also working on getting together to share a Peabea’s Photography and Craft Patch Potpourri Photography Challenge meme. I enjoy visiting and sharing with other Photography meme’s each week so thought I’d start one as well.  But more on that later. 🙂
  • Just finished reading The Book Thief. My book reviews that need updated are on my writing site at peabea.net

Some freebies I’ve encountered along the way as I peruse the web and fun sites to check out that you might like.

God’s Splendor

God's SplendorWho could paint a picture thus as this

When nature and man combine

the field of corn, the splendor of green trees

against a skyline enhanced only by an ocean blue sky

with just enough wisps of clouds to add to the beauty of God’s splendor

Road Less Traveled

Choice for Quotography 2 for TT

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
-Robert Frost

I keep reading this and wondering what is he saying. So far I’ve found maybe several meanings ~ in my head anyway.

1. He chose the path less traveled because he didn’t want to follow in footsteps known to him of life?

2. He chose the path less traveled because he knew where the other path in life might lead?

3. He chose the path less traveled because, well he just wanted to?

4. He knew he could be so many things, but he traveled the path that led to the things that he enjoyed and wanted to pursue in life?

I give…not sure what it means. If you have any suggestions, would love to know what you think this poem is saying by Mr. Frost. (:

~hugs ‘n smiles~ for a great week ahead.
